The Pack finished with the No. 33 RPI in the nation, and a 2-3-3 record against teams in the Top 25. State tied No. 1 Wake Forest, No. 7 Notre Dame, and No. 24 Louisville, while defeating No. 15 South Carolina and No. 16 Boston College.

“This was a year of good progress and good quality,” said NC State head coach Kelly Findley. “Unfortunately, good is the enemy of great. We came up short of our goal to play in the NCAA Tournament. I was proud of the team’s effort, attitude and commitment throughout the season. I look forward to seeing us build on this progress.

“I would like to thank our seniors for their contribution and commitment throughout their time, it was exceptional and I look forward to seeing their future success. They will be missed.”
